Tim Martin is the principal attorney of The Law Offices of Timothy D. Martin. Tim has more than sixteen years of experience as an environmental, land use and real estate attorney, including as a founding partner in CA Land Use Professionals,an environmental and land use boutique law firm. Prior to that, Tim worked as an associate for eight years in the Government, Land Use, Environmental, Energy Group of Jeffer, Mangels, Butler & Marmaro, LLP.
Tim’s practice has emphasized ensuring client compliance with the complex array of federal, state and local laws and regulations. His practice has also focused on environmental transactional due diligence to protect his clients’ interests in the acquisition and disposition of real estate and corporate assets. Tim also has extensive experience with environmental and land use litigation and administrative proceedings, as well as in land use entitlement and environmental review proceedings. Tim also has extensive real estate transaction experience, including leasing agreements, purchase and sale agreements and real estate litigation.
Prior to law school, Tim worked as an environmental policy campaigner for the Natural Resources Defense Council. Tim obtained his B.A. from Dartmouth College in 1986 and his J.D. from U.C.L.A. School of Law in 2002.
Tim has been named a Super Lawyer, Southern California (Environmental Law) from 2014 through 2019 Previously, Tim was a Super Lawyer, Rising Star, Southern California for 2009 and 2010.
